Once Upon a Mattress by Mary Rodgers & Marshall Barer

About
Featuring a cast, crew, and pit of over 70 individuals, Once Upon a Mattress was Allison’s first main stage musical. Striving to make an accessible and community-oriented show, Allison & the production team chose to waive any ticket fees. Entry was by donation (any amount, including a penny!). The proceeds for this show went to Kentucky Refugee Ministries to support resettlement services during the Syrian Refugee Crisis.

I hope the story of Once Upon a Mattress might remind you, as it has me, what it is like to think like a child; ceasing to judge books by their covers or place unattainable expectations on our relationships. I have the honor of inviting you to return to a childlike state as you allow us to weave for you the enchanting tale of the princess and the pea...
